Burright, Chris: section 1, Fall 2014
To the future readers of this shred of history that has survived the apocalypse and are now reading this to get a glimpse of what life was like before the fallout: I am a senior studying English (is that still a language after the apocalypse or do y’all speak Adamic by now?) at BYU. I like reading, and prefer to be outdoors when I do read because it helps me to lose myself in the work better. I am planning (or was, before the apocalypse) to go to law school and am getting married this June to the greatest person in the world. If you have found this and read what I transcribed (The Signal-Man), tell the story to all you know so that you may avoid the disaster foretold by the spectre and maybe prevent the apocalypse. If you are too late, I am sorry, and good luck!
