Overview
First published in 1866, the weekly journal The Chatterbox stayed in print for almost a century. The journal was a compilation of short stories, serial narratives, illustrations, poems, riddles, adventures, and brainteasers. Editor J. Erskine Clarke later bound and sold these halfpenny issues as annual volumes.[2]
